In recent times, memorable European campaigns have had a song that is related to the run. Supporters from a host of clubs across the continent had taken their turns singing the song during their European away days, each adapting uniquely for their own use and changing the lyrics. It was so fucking good in Porto cos no-one rushed. Its spread across Europe has been curious, starting from Abruzzo, a small city in southern , before reaching Turin, Naples, and Madrid. We got beat 2-1 but all the fans stayed in the seats absolutely bouncing for another hour after. This is easily one of the best songs we've had in the last 5 years and I just hope it isn't ruined by folks trying to blaze through it as quick as they can just to get to the Allez Allez Allez bit.
The singer was also invited along to Liverpool's U. It's had a little bit of an airing in the back of the Kop and is growing. Back in 2005 it was Ring of Fire, 2007 was Oh Campione, 2016 was Three Little Birds and this year it is Allez Allez Allez.
