Family friendly camping site in idyllic surroundings by the Aurdalsfjord. Now you can experience this awesome trip yourself! This does not imply that all amenities not in bold are free! The fjord is full of fish which you are allowed to catch for free. It's possible to cook in the kitchenette, and you can sit down at a table to eat or to be social. The downside of staying at the far end is that the sanitary facilities were a long way away: not fun carrying a toilet cassette in 28 degrees! So we were suggested to use the restaurant bath. The neighborhood offers activities for everybody. The largest cabins have bathrooms with toilet and shower. In the summer, you find Valdres Golf only 3 km away from the camping site and in the winter, you find Valdres Alpinsenter and Danebu with groomed ski trails only 4 km away. The akward thing is that the part of the camping which is nearest the camping entrance, is very far away from the sanitary room, with all facilities. Our eight cabins with the highest standard have a 30 km2 floor area and contain two bedrooms, a living room and a kitchenette with all necessary equipment. We also have a soccer field, a zip line and a twelve-hole miniature golf course. Here we serve ice-cream, soda, wine, food, groceries, Smirnoff Ice and more.
