I don't know how any cook can release a burger like this from the kitchen. My dad got calamari for an appetizer. Well, I love this place. He was more than happy to offer us tasters and wasnt impatient with us even though there was a bit of a line. That's about the only reason this got 2 stars. Yes, this could mostly be due to the fact that they have a skee-ball machine. Will be back for a full tour at a later date.
I ordered the burger temperate at medium some pink, still juicy and it came to me only extremely well done. Seriously, if I wasn't already married, I would propose to your pretzel and your Bavarian sandwich! The sauce also dried out in the day old bun giving the sandwich no juice at all. And while our six locations all have their own unique take on their local scenes, each offers the same next-round-is-on-me atmosphere. Super cool vibe here, lots of options, and friendly bartenders to help you determine what might fit your tastes. I came in october and all of the 8 or so beer they had on draft were about 4%.
I started my night on Halloween's Eve with a drink. From food trucks to partnerships with local restaurants, the Wednesday skeeball league, a pumpkin carving contest in October, and weekly runs, there's always something to do. Mother and I stopped in to watch the World Cup finals and were not disappointed.
Then the remodel happened and the coziness of the local bar was gone. Turkey tips, burgers and the best thing in the menu I get all the time the boneless buffalo wings - I mix the sauce with buffalo and honey hot, damn good. If you're in the area it's a great place to visit. We used the beer line and sat at the barrels at the front, later on ended up getting a waitress to order through. Thanks Notch Brewery for a perfect ending to our wonderful weekend. The place looks gorgeous inside and out.
Family from California Seattle Arizona New Mexico Vermont all were very impressed. After she served our food, she literally never came back. Ever since moving to Salem 5 years ago, I've been going to the Salem Beerworks very often. Slightly malty, yet dry, with a touch of lemon and pepper in the aroma. Drove 2 hours to check out some breweries in the area, and we were certainly not disappointed. My dad had sword fish tips which he said were blah.
Our food is always made from scratch and our taps are always filled with beers we're proud of, whether they've been brewed by us or our friends and collaborators. She wouldn't even touch the chicken. Older crowd in watching the game my age, 40's+ and the menu is now geared more towards hipsters and college kids. Penny from The Big Bang Theory puts her to shame. Floor malted Czech pils malt is double decocted for deep malt structure in such a delicate beer.
Looks can definitely be deceiving. Expand your horizons and give a traditionally-made session beer a try. So swing by for a drink or throw a private event in one of our spaces. When we tried to tell our server, he walked away. She got the manager who wasn't too nice.
Well behaved dogs are encouraged! Only other decent place comparable for beer and eats on the North Shore is Portsmouth Brewery. So I remember the Notch Brewery from an October festival from a few years ago as a wonderful day where we first met the future in-laws. Hannah, the hostess, was incredibly friendly even with there being a two hour wait. If I could give 0 stars I would. You could tell she didn't want to be there.
