We were seated quickly and service was great! We had multiple waiters come up to try and give us food that wasn't ours. The food was just mediocre at best. It kind of felt like there was an identity crisis: are we a sports bar? We do not allow hats, gym attire, sweatpants, hoodies, or sweatshirts. You can go at dinner time and walk away full, but the restaurant is intentionally created to be a place for drinks where you can also get food. My husband and I made a reservation for four at butter. The place not bad but the menu and service line needs some tweaks. The service wasn't great, the food was very and a mediocre and bland.

From the appetizer down to the dessert!! Our Mac and cheese was bland. Our products can be found in specialty gourmet and gift stores across America. The timing of the food and drinks was perfect and our waitress was really sweet. Our waitress, though kind, seemed constantly out of sorts and overwhelmed. That was our table to dine at.

We like sitting at the bar, one of the female bartenders is really fun to chat with. I got a basil gimlet. My husband also ordered the Coco Coffee and said it was delicious! We ordered a bottle of wine. Once again, another restaurant in Midland with potential. I ordered the goat cheese arugula salad--it was something I'd seen promoted and was excited to try. Overall, it was an ok experience.

The food was mediocre at best. I am not bothered for not having the lamb, I am bothered because it took them over an hour to noticed it and tell me. Hummus was fine--needed more salt. We ordered an artichoke which was fine but came out kinda cold. I was visiting from out of town and decided to try the new place. Butter has a very good conversation atmosphere but not good food.

I not sure why this place has any bad reviews!! Additionally, we didn't get the complementary items the other tables received? The cocktails were very well done. Limited Edition Gourmet Foods offers 18 flavors of Honeybutter All of our products have been made in a traditional homemade style since 1992. They literally just tasted like butter. The place is really cute inside and we were seated immediately for our reservation at 715. Additionally, it was still charged to the final bill, which I had to request to be removed. If I could put 0, I would.

For any group larger than 2 or 4 expect to have a weird table set up. We had: shishuto peppers these were great , fried goat cheese salad tasty but simple , 1 order scallops 6 to a plate , 3 lamb lollipops medium rare 6 mini shanks per serving and a cheeseburger egg roll 6 pieces. I always temper my expectations in food in Midland because service is pretty bad almost everywhere. When my husband asked to be moved to a different table the hostess was not very happy. It was veryyy expensive for what it was. It's such a fun place to go with a group-- we had 6 in our party and each plate allowed every person to get a piece for themselves. Overall we were not impressed and definitely wouldn't go back with steep prices for hardly and food that's not even good. Our products are made with a great deal of pride in producing quality products that are delicious in so many ways. We ordered three tapas and sar 40 min between our 2nd and 3rd before served.
