One got a hamburger which came with bun and the basics and French fries. If you appreciate homemade burgers, fantastic nature and magical concerts in the summer, Ravnedalen is the place to be. During the summer months there are frequent concerts, festivals and theatre productions, while simple meals are served in the café. The Café is really a good burger restaurant, a bit pricey like most Norwegian restaurants both on burgers and beers. These were our first hamburgers in Norway and they were large, delicious.

You have a lot to look forward to in 2010. Some of Norway's largest trees, planted around 1875, are found in the park. Exotic plants were imported and planted, like , , , and. Relax on the lawn, wander amongst the fantastic trees, see the dam with it's resident swans or enjoy a nice meal at Café Generalen. . Cafe Generalen is situated at the front end of the really nice and picturesque Ravnedalen park a few miles North West of Kristiansand, a town of 90. . Some drummer was banging his drums non stop.
Welcome to Ravnedalen, Kristiansand's nature gem! If you're up for it, climb the steep stone steps to the top high above the park and enjoy the view! And a walk through the park is highly recommended. Mostly Norwegian bands, some local, play all through the June- August seson. Café Generalen offers good food and lots of concerts. Ravnedalen has about 70 established climbing routes. The selection of routes spans several grades and comprise bolted, partially bolted and traditionally protected climbs. If you visit Kristiansand without going to Cafe Generalen, you're missing out. But the best part is their music.
