Do we really need more then 6-7 rounds? So bottom line is, it's extremely unlikely anyone who isn't in law enforcement or military is ever going to need a gun with a higher capacity than 5-6 rounds, in any real life scenario at least. Of the incidents that do involve the actual discharge of the firearm, the vast majority involved 1-3 shots. . . .

So at that point, the chances of actually needing a gun that can fire more than a few shots is so rare, it would be about the same for any one person as getting struck by lightening twice in one month. . I would think for law enforcement, it's a different set of rules.

Albeit I tend to roll with a G27 more than I do with the G43, I'm with Nick. I would guess it's common among people with their own Youtube channel filled with videos of them talking about stuff. I personally don't know if I'd truly feel comfortable carrying only 6 rounds loaded. So in those cases, any number of bullets in your gun are more than you need. . I think getting used to the capacity would take some time. To think of those reality situations applying to me at some point and not being someone who says oh that'll never happen to me. Just a week or so before this was the Uber driver who killed some people and went back to picking people up like it was nothing. This is exactly what I mean.

I don't feel two spares are necessary for anyone and in fact I always mess with my brother asking him if he's Rambo bc he carries 2 spares with his G19 or P229. Yes of course bc for me that is my job in protecting myself. And yes pretty much this whole time I've debated that but that's for conversation purpose. If I ever bought a G43 down the line, it would mainly be for conceal ability. But in a nutshell, what he said is the chances are very low that you will ever need to use your gun in the first place.
