About Hamleys

Established in 1760, Hamleys is London's oldest toyshop, moving to its present location in Regent Street in 1881. The fourth floor is devoted to hobbies, with remote controlled vehicles, train sets and cars, and on the fifth there are the action figures, as well as a very family-friendly café. This huge shop has seven floors filled with more than 50,000 toys, including computer games, plush toys, latest gadgets, classic games and specialist collector areas. The ultimate play experience, Hamleys has been delighting adults and children for years from their famous London store, one of the largest toyshops in the world. The ground floor is dedicated to soft toys, ranging from very small to truly life-sized stuffed animals, as well as Build-A-Bear, where a child can choose a teddy bear and customise it before taking it home.
