Most all speak very good English. Second best thing is that it's a great value. I love the atmosphere and everyone is happy working here! The hotel is located near the tourist area and easy to walk to Las Ramblas and Plaça de Catalunya. Loved the hallways, with the suite gigantically displayed on the doors as per pic. Desk staff was nice but didn't offer anything other than a check in. I would definitely recommend staying here.
Good amount of closet space too. Lots of shaded lounge sofas and comfy chairs. I could see staying here again, but I'm not enthusiastic about it. The room was very nice - clean and modern. And making the best mojitos I travel a lot and is not always about the amenities. The policies listed are provided by the property.
It's not a super highrise either, almost feels a bit boutique-ish. Only downside is that I don't believe that there is in-room coffee and the choices nearby are slim. Stayed 8 nights i July and had a great time. Perfect if you don't want to go the crowded beach and worry about thieves stealing your stuff while your in the water. Jazz features a buffet breakfast.

Posted by Wildcat34, from Arkansas on Nov 15, 2011 My husband and I really enjoyed Hotel Jazz. Located 50 meters away from the hotel Cent Focs and Tutti frutti barcelona serve a great selection of Mediterranean food. The room has nice faux-wood floors and a very large bathroom complete with toilet and bidet. La Rambla and Boqueria Market are also within half a mile 1 km. We really enjoyed the location and proximity to popular landmarks like Las Ramblas. Obviously nothing fancy, though the rooms are a pleasant surprise.
Slowest person alive and on top of that, rude and not nice! Guests can surf the web using the complimentary wired and wireless Internet access. Found this hotel on Trip Advisor but there were also a few Yelp reviews at the time. They provided excellent advice on planning a day that included Parc Guel and Sagrada Familia. Michelle was also helpful as was the breakfast staff. Walking distance to Las Ramblas is 3 minutes. Universitat Metro Station is less than 100 m from the hotel.
We had the cheapest room. Sneak in your own beverages and earphones, music on the deck is horrifically terrible. Optional extras The fees and deposits listed below will be charged at the time of service, check-in, or check-out. The second was there was no coffee or tea machine in the room I had read these 2 things in the reviews were complaints but everything else seemed right so we booked. The included free breakfast was one of the best hotel free breakfasts I've had. But walking distance to all the other cosy streets and areas in central Barcelona.
The hotel is centrally located and the rooms are very comfortable yet modern. Posted by Jeff, from Houston on Mar 24, 2015 Hotel Jazz is wonderful. The rooftop pool and deck is fabulous. The bed was a lil to firm for me but I still slept well. Guests can spend time in the large bar serving a wide range of cocktails and coffee. They also have drinks and snacks for sale up there.
This was stop 1 on our 3-week Euro trip. You could get omelettes on order. Our guests appreciate the hotel's convenience to public transportation: Universitat Station is just steps away and Placa Catalunya Station is 4 minutes by foot. But despite of her, can really recommend staying at Jazz! It has an on-site 24-hour restaurant as well as a poolside bar. And the price was right. The hotel is itself lies within a short walk of the famous La Rambla which is nice because you had the quiet of the location with easy access to the bustling center of Barcelona.
When we arrived early and our room wasn't ready, they stored our luggage safely and securely. Really enjoyed coming back to relax in the room after a full day of site seeing. Found a great deal on Booking. Special requests are subject to availability at the time of check-in. So the location is in my opinion perfect.
