Even more impressive is how the author was able to make me question my own morality. I am perhaps the last soul on earth to discover this fabulous author. I find complex relationships between women to be fascinating - woven with friendship, jealousies and secrets - but I found this book superficial and, at times, even boring. I found myself growing protective over these heroines, which initially, I wasn't expecting. It was a very insightful story that got you right into the minds of these women. Cecilia finds a letter her husband wrote following the birth of their first child, which was only to be read in the event of his death.

Hon berättar om ett äktenskapsdrama med också om flera personers livsdramer. Why not sit back and let someone else do all the hard work for you? I still stand by my original opinion. In fact, I was completely bombarded.

I have been so ashamed of many of the newest Best Sellers that have been released. The epilogue and actually the entire book will make you think, reflect, wonder about. Yes, things could have gone a thousand different ways. So while I liked the complexity portrayed and the writing as well as the characters the plot just didn't do it for me at all. Plötsligt har hennes liv tagit en helt ny vändning på grund av ett brev från hennes man, ett brev som innehåller något hon aldrig skulle kunna föreställa sig. John-Paul är på tjänsteresa men när han ringer berättar Cecilia om brevet, han avfärdar det och ber henne slänga det utan att läsa.

Tragedy made you petty and spiteful. Och elvaåriga Jonathan som önskar att det fanns en trappa till himlen så han kunde se mamma ibland. It's like when you play out meeting someone famous in your head and you think you know exactly what you would do, until you meet them and your plans fly out the window. Cecelia, happily married and mother of three girls. And it isn't really what I want to read about either.
