I also tried the cinnamon roll because they didn't have any more chocolate cake out. Also known for their native Swedish furniture names, their food is also in Swedish as well. Highly Recommend the Swedish Pancakes! Two sentences of nothingness is just stupid and those reviews should be completely thrown out. I mean I questioned the chairs and the tables, but after eating here I don't anymore. The Swedish Meatballs here rock and I usually get the Managers Special Swedish Meatballs Dinner with a bottomless fountain drink from the self serve drink station including Pepsi products.

The recipes are often creative. A fly landed on our mashed potatoes before we even sat down, but my husband brought it back up to the kitchen and they were happy to give him a replacement. They have that 'bag salad' taste. Drinks Chomp Chomp Chomp Yum. Not much to look at, but provides a lot of light.

Both times the 'side salad' selection was dismal. That being said, it's of cafeteria quality so don't expect too much, and if it's later in the day, all you have to choose from is pretty much meatballs, a generic wrap, or cake. Is there really any point that it isn't busy? I had to try it and must say I love it! The food was absolutely delicious. This cafeteria style eatery serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner in a very casual setting, similar to a large lunch room with lots of tables and seats. Their forgot the name of the breakfast.

Go through the main entrance, look ahead, and you'll see a big sign on the wall pointing you to the restaurant. The breading of it was just right. The chicken tenders were pretty good. I was surprised by the quality of the food! Not mushy in the center and the taste was great. It's Scandinavian - so it's portioned just right to satisfy you and not cripple you to a point of food coma - which is the American way of eating. Food here is surprisingly delicious. First time visiting the huge Ikea restaurant in Burbank.

Food & beverages

A scoop of red-skin potato mashies and a spoonful of tangy, sweet and tart lingonberry which adds some acid to the meal. It's a great affordable lunch price while shopping for all your home needs. Would recommend for a coffee and cake break for sure So the Swedish remember those are not the Swiss!!! Didn't see any lingonberry sauce option but maybe that would make a difference in my experience. This is the cheapest breakfast you'll get in Burbank, and it's actually pretty tasty. The smells of delicious food and of course the Ikea meatballs await.

This tribute to Cold War era cafeteria food would be ok if someone, anyone just cared about service. The swirl we got was beautiful and gets an almost perfect score for an almost perfect classic soft serve silhouette. . Then you head down past the drinks, just don't forget they have a great selection of soda fountains you've likely never tried, like pear. It reminds me a lot of a breakfast you'd get while staying at a hotel. What I love is the furniture and decor, I mean what's the best advertisement than having people use what you're selling to see if they like it or not.

This Swedish company has become so popular, the number one baby name in Sweden is Ikea. Plenty of seating and big windows so it feels open. I imagine some people go just for the reasonable food, without even shopping. I'm in the boat of those that love Ikea, but I feel the restaurant leaves a little to be desired. Hmm, I forget what my wife had but I remember it being tasty 3. The staff behind the counter did their best to keep up with the refills but the lunch rush was just overwhelming.

After all 'life is uncertain, eat dessert first' - right? The soup tasted so comforting as if it was homemade. I mean if it was busy I would understand they need to work quickly but I always try to go when it's not crowded and it doesn't make a difference. I got myself a nice bowl of corn and potato chowder. I think I'll come back for their cheap priced but good hot dogs next time. There are not a lot of options here but it's decent enough! While most people probably associate the Swedish furniture store with its sleek product design, the shopping experience is never complete without a visit to their surprisingly affordable food court. The jury's still out on that one.

The lines looked really long, but they moved pretty fast. The beef have gotten up a crazy amount so I like to opt for the fish or chicken, but beware as the fish truly are fishy tasting. The land of affordable housewares, decked-out showrooms, and enough assembly instructions to keep the paper industry alive and well. Get the chocolate overload cake! I wish this Ikea was closer to me so that I could visit more often. Prices subject to change without prior notice.
