At the moment the exhibition is on the first world war so it feels a little bit repetitive and somewhat disjointed as there are similar exhibits in the permanent collection. In April 1942 the first Wing was formed at Duxford. Parked outside the museum building is a solitary ex-Iraqi Army T-55 tank which was captured by the British Army in 2003.
