The pacing was a little fast though but given the length of the book that was to be expected. This being Ruby and Denise. Working-class Tom Leezak and upper-class Sarah McNerney meet up when Tom accidentally hits Sarah with a football. And her Julia Hawke series is pretty sophisticated and on my favorites list caveat about the first book not being so great while the 2nd and 3rd are really good. I found the overbearing mother, the average bookstore Brit, the insecure actress and the scheming sleezy actor all to be over the top and stereotypical. It's an okay read, on the whole.

The whole plot unwound in a believable format that hooked this reader and kept me entertained and enthralled to the end. Sarah gets drunk so Peter takes her back to the hotel. Just Married by the author Natasha West was another great read and funny. I really like West's writing and will likely read more of her stories, as I enjoyed her characters and found them believable. One thing leads to another, bitch mom is initially annoyed, then. Emily needs to get away and takes a trip to the first place in America she can get a plane to, Vegas. The other minor part that had me baffled was how two grown women both allowed someone to treat them like unruly children, scolding and all.

Ruby's agent thinks they should stay married as it is boosting Ruby's career and her chances to get a lead in a big movie role. It was a little too cheesy for my taste. The couple secure a nice Venetian hotel with the grudging financial help of Sarah's father. Ruby really needed to talk to Ruby? They over emphasize consonants, especially 'R' sounds, and over-act, stripping an American accent of nuance. And her Julia Hawke series is pretty sophisticated and on my favorites list caveat about the first book not being so great while the 2nd and 3rd are really good.

The newlyweds leave the hotel after Tom has a heated argument with the hotel owner and pays a large bill to repair the power. This is a comical story of errors. Inbasket to self: no more author strikes ever again. Whenever the narrators would slip into the British character, though, it was much more natural and a better experience. Sarah has moved out and Tom wants to get back with her. Or worse, getting carried away with their fake relationship… But what if they do let themselves feel something? Tom and Sarah have seemingly nothing in common, but that doesn't stop them from falling in love. The story starts with Just Married? Peter bails them out and the couple angrily decide to go home to Los Angeles, returning to the opening moments of the film.

Things move from there and they have great fun together — to the point of drunkenness. The two lead characters meet. Definitely recommend and worth more than 5 stars. Tom tries to think of a clever way to get out of his situation, and finds himself tricked into walking her to his hotel room, where the girl rips off her top before Tom blurts out that he's on his honeymoon, upon which the girl finally leaves. It wasn't fun to listen to and the emphasis of expression when using the American accent made a character even crossing a room sound overly dramatic.

I liked the main characters well enough, even though I wanted to whack them upside the head every now and then for Book 11 that I've read by this author and unfortunately it didn't meet my expectations. Tom Leezak Ashton Kutcher is a regular guy who likes sports and beer and tries to make ends meet working as a nighttime radio traffic reporter. So not only was the marriage in this one fake, the chemistry came off as fake. The pacing was a little fast though but given the length of the book that was to be expected. It was a different look at one of my favorite themes - fake relationship. It's an adorable story that brought a refreshing angle to my favorite theme. To fall in love with your own wife.

The blurb had me immediately intrigued because the combination of a drunken Vegas wedding and a fauxmance in one sounded amazing. In the cold light of day, both women are shocked to find themselves wedded to a virtual stranger. I really enjoyed this book - so much so that I cried at the end of it. If you've not read any books by Natasha West then try this one rd a great one and well worth it. It's an I really enjoyed this book - so much so that I cried at the end of it. The part that ruined this book for me was caused mainly by a secondary character.

Just Married chronicles the beleaguered romance of Tom Leezak Ashton Kutcher and Sarah McNerney Brittany Murphy , a young couple unexpectedly swept off their feet after their first meeting. When he kisses her at the entrance, she slaps him and reminds him that she's on her honeymoon. The couple storm out of the hotel and each go their separate ways: Tom going back to the bar, where he meets American tourist Wendy, and Sarah going sightseeing, where Peter follows her. This had me laughing out loud but also sad at times. That's the question posed in this broad comedy. I've read a handful of Natasha West's books and I think this is my least favorite among them. My critiques are kind of typical for me---very white and cis and abled , the Los Angeles descriptions were fine for the most part but there were a few things that I didn't agree with, and the two characters fell in love but we never exactly saw why.
