We did not go to the pool because it was on the chillier side during our trip. We will definitely be coming back! If we come back will probably not stay on site and go to some local hotel. . The hotel was so kid and family friendly. Overall it was a great experience and I highly recommend staying on property. Without reservations the hostess staff was a little slow trying to figure out where to put you.
From the lobby to the restaurant to the individual rooms, everything was very clean and tidy. We ate at the dragons den the first night and had a reservation for 730 went there a half hour early asked if we could get a table and we were told no come back in a half hour. The cleaning staff was courteous and even left the right amount of drinks and treasure prizes for our kids. Don't expect this to always be the case during high volume times The lobby was very neat and the kids had a blast checking out everything! The perk of getting in early before the park opens to the public was also super awesome! Coming from New York it is a little disappointing to get such bad service when you charge such high prices and a resort fee. Both mornings we went to breakfast and some of the items were cold especially the Turkey sausage we had told one of the servers that came to check on us but she said that this is not her section and she usually works in the park. The elevators were even fun.
On a positive note the first morning's breakfast we had kevin as a server he was excellent to bad the food wasn't. Attention to detail in the room was phenomenal! After going over to the legoland hotel for the only entertainment we decided to get an appetizer at night to go. Movies in the evening were cool too! The hotel staff was very friendly and welcoming upon check in and our room was ready an hour and a half before the usual 4pm check in time which was great! The outdoor playground and entertainment was awesome! The adjustable shower nozzle was also perfect during bathtime with littles. The king size bed was super comfortable and there were a few pillow options as well. Not the best way to represent the brand. A Breakfast buffet was included in our stay and it was delicious and there were plenty of food to choose from. So many fun things to play on and so many fun things to do in the evening for a variety of ages! There were about 20 open tables in the restraunt.

Our waitress passed by us numerous times and asked the table behind us if she can get them anything not once checking on our table. The stars projected on the ceiling at night were an added bonus. There is zero entertainment at the castle hotel if there is inclement weather the legoland hotel had nonstop entertainment at night our son loved it. We got the beer cheese dip with pretzel bread, we went back to the room and it was like soup it was awful couldn't even eat it.
My 4 year old loved the slide and playing with the legos in the lobby area. You need to stay at the Legoland Castle Hotel! After finally sitting down we ordered our meal which had an guacamole appetizer, half hour later it never showed up but our entrees came. Our second night we went out to dinner at the Kings fish house 5 min away and the food was amazing I highly recommend it. We hope you visit us again in the near future and hope you have a wonderful day. Both breakfast and dinner were yummy and the adult beverage options were nice too! Highly recommend reservations to speed up the process for the hostesses. We will definitely be back! The food at Dragons Den was delicious and just enough options for my whole family without being overwhelming. The bathroom was very toddler friendly with a step stool that was provided and a little potty seat attached to the regular toilet.
