Our room was on the 2nd floor. The hotel is just off the road from Alesund to the airport, a short distance after exiting the tunnel that goes underneath the fjord. Our flight was at 06:30am the next morning and this was a simple option. We were able to park on the same level as our room which was very convenient! The maximum number of cribs in a room is 1. It was a 10 minute ride. The bus stop to the airport was literally right outside of the hotel but the times of our arrival and departure was outside of the bus timetables.

All other hotels are in the city which is at least 25 minutes to the airport. All hotel room doors open to the lobby. All children under 6 years stay free of charge when using existing beds. We also took a taxi to the airport in the morning which the hotel arranged for us. The spacious bathrooms include a shower. The area is quiet and the main building housed a small grocery and food bar - everything you need was nearby. Overall, a good choice for access to the airport. We took an elevator upstairs which opened into a large center lobby with sofas and a morning coffee station. Guests enjoy free WiFi internet in a picturesque coastal setting. We were looking for a hotel close to the airport because we came in late by car and had to leave early on a flight.

. WiFi was strong and better then other hotels. There is a large seating area with snacks and tea available in the center of the 2nd floor very nice. Rooms were basic and clean. We came in at 8 pm and had to drop off a rental car at the airport.

All children under 6 years stay free of charge in a crib. The hotel is above a supermarket. Staff was nice and helpful. We were given passwords to use it. On the ground floor was a supermarket and a small restaurant which was also where we checked in.

After we checked in, my husband dropped off the car and took a taxi back to the hotel. The Wifi was strong and the shower had good water pressure, my wife said.
