He is unable to focus on his work as he keeps thinking about Mehwish and Shehwar. Another reason for tuning into this drama was that we have not seen Humayun Saeed playing a middle class man struggling to keep it all together since Doraha days. Mere Paas Tum Ho Episode 1 introduced us to the lead couple as Danish and Ayeza Khan as Mehwish. Written by Khalil-ur-Rehman, the story of a happy, loving family now focuses on betrayal, jealousy, and selfishness and how it affects relationships. Direction was really good as usual. His teary eyes and crack in his voice made us relate to his emotions. Whether intentional or unintentional, Meray Paas Tum Ho manages to make an interesting statement by flipping the genders.
However, his marriage life is not as successful. It gave the perspective of how as a society we deal with corruption. Where Mehwish is mature and understands the financial situation her husband, she is also under continuous peer pressure whenever she is with Anoushey. Dillagi was a masterpiece and everyone contributed to its success which was lead by Faiza Iftikhar. The other three tried to leave some suspense on when she comes in and what her role is, but she basically gave it away the second she started speaking. Written by Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar, the story of Mere Paas Tum Ho incorporates so many elements of real life. Most importantly, I expected better from Humayun Saeed, who is an intelligent man and someone who has been in the business for such a long time.
Mere Paas Tum Ho Episode 2 was a power-packed episode with Humayun Saeed and Ayeza Khan stealing the show once again. Therefore, it is good to know that these characters are not going to be black and white. Adnan Siddiqui also made an electrifying first appearance as Shehwar Ahmed and oh boy, the story just keeps getting better! He gets into a fist fight with Monty and is shamed by both Monty and his neighbors, as his wife willingly got into the car with Monty. The overall episode was a very good one directed by Nadeem Baig. Mehwish and Danish This first episode focused entirely on the main characters, Mehwish Ayeza Khan and Danish Humayun Saeed. However, the show does not come without its share of flaws and unfortunately, those flaws come in the form of messy writing.
He gets a right start at this wrong path and finally buys the much-hyped necklace for Mehwish. Real face of corrupt institutions was also shown nicely. It was so heartbreaking to see that all Danish was trying to explain Mehwish that he loves her, and she is the world to him yet all Mehwish cared about was the money. Main Cast : Humayun Saeed as Danish; Mehwish's husband and Roomi's father Ayeza Khan as Mehwish; Danish's wife and Roomi's mother Adnan Siddiqui as Shahwaar; Mehwish's lover Mehar Bano as Anushey; Mehwish's friend Hira Mani as Hania; Roomi's teacher Asad Zaman Khan Syed Mohammad Ahmed as Mateen; Danish's friend Shees Sajji Gul as Roomi; Danish and Mehwish's son Rehmat Ajmal as Aisha Furqan Qureshi as Monty; Danish and Mehwish's neighbor Waseem Lashari as Anti corruption officer Umer Bhatti as Officer. Mere Paas Tum Ho has the 2nd highest ever first and highest ever third episode ratings. Rather, the characters are written in a way that they feel void of depth.
She has certain expectation from life which Danish is unable to fulfill. On the other hand, the character of Mehwish is many-layered as neither black nor white. Meray Paas Tum Ho revolves around the lives of an ordinary couple, Danish and Mehwish who have different needs and mindset which slowly drifts them apart. I see someone mentioning Indecent proposal. Danish Humayun Saeed is a simple man with high moral values and works as a government officer. For that, Ayeza Khan deserves the applaud for playing it so impeccably. Starring Humayun Saeed and Ayeza Khan in the lead, Mere Paas Tum Ho Episode 1 proved to be a beautiful start to a simple yet captivating story written by the maestro Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar.
He was absolutely brilliant as Mohid therefore I am waiting to see more of him in the upcoming weeks. Her decision to work with Shehwar Adnan Siddiqui helped us understand what she really thinks about and what really matters to her! Gr8 review Fatima, I agree with you on all points. The viewers who have watched the promos of this drama and especially those who watched the morning show in which the cast was invited already knew the basic personality traits of these characters. Nadeem Baig deserves due credit for directing this first episode really well. Even though Mehwish is an ideal wife who supports her husband and takes care of their son with full responsibility but she was also shown to be manipulating Danish emotionally so he could find other ways to earn money. I agree with your comment on Hira Mani.
He is the owner of a large company in which Mehwish starts working. . Once again, Humayun Saeed, Adnan Siddiqui, and Ayeza Khan proved why they are considered as the best actors in the industry! The story is so predictable and after watching the morning show and reading the description written below the episode, story is clear and every character is predictable. Shewhart and Mehwish meet for the first time after Anoushey spots him at the restaurant. Rehmat Ajmal as Aisha and Furqan Qureshi as Salman are the mutual friends of both Mehwish and Danish who are always there for them in time of need.
Anyways , this serial looks like a extension of the story of Zayed Ahmed and Sana Javed in Zara yaad Kar, what would happen if they had got married in that show. It was beautiful how it was shown that Danish whole world revolves around his wife and son and he immensely loves them. Danish has all the reasons to prove to Mehwish that Shehwar is not doing this for lust but now she has simply sidelined him not even thinking about how this will affect their child. Pakistani dramas are better than that. Look like mixture of indian amd pakistani dramas. Danish is an honest man but his wife pushes him to do things which are illegal. But it is not worth if the story gets firmed up after few episode because by then viewers lose interest.
The Necklace The necklace was used as a symbol, just like it was in the short story how many of you attended Literature classes? Do share your thoughts about it. It is directed by Nadeem Baig and written by Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar. Kisi aur affluent banday ki entry and then Mehwish ka us ki taraf attract hona, agar isi tarah hai, to barree common story lagtee hai. When Mehwish snappily retorts that Danish was also dancing with Anoushey, he replies that Anoushey is like a sister to him. This first episode was strictly okay but also not completely disappointing since it seems like this old story might have a little twist this time around. Mehwish, while getting money for a new outfit for the wedding, finds the necklace Danish bought for her and realizes how much Danish does to make her happy.
