The screens were smaller and the larger theaters had hallways that were kind of claustrophobic. Get on the bandwagon Regal!!! As for the theater itself, such a disappointment. I could have been waling into Ghostbusters, Splash, Top Gun, Police Academy, Revenge of the Nerds, Working Girl, Fletch, the Three Amigos, any one of the Back to the Future trilogy, etc. How about positive to negative. If it weren't for the nostalgia angle for me, I would have given two stars but I did enjoy flashing back to my childhood.

So, that being said, it is decent. . It takes way too long to get your ticket. I used to love going to the movies, now, wait and see it on Redbox in the comfort of your own home. You'd think after a while they'd get the message that they are often way understaffed.

It's almost like this place doesn't want to efficiently process customers through, or take our money. The employees all said Regal was bought out, but please Mr. Twenty minutes to take care of seven people in front of me was a poor concern for their customers time. Food prices are high but expect that Got any theater. This is not a sporting event! Other Regal theaters are taken care of better and they do not use robots as employees. Because I was on my knee scooter I couldn't attempt to get any further back. Theater was way too hot.

So I am required to use a knee scooter, or crutches. On several occasions I've had to stand in long lines to get tickets and even longer lines for concessions. I've even skipped seeing a couple movies because I would miss the start if I waited in the concession stand lines. They actually talk to you and have personalities. Middle Center seats will cost more than Front row? Usually ends in people yelling and cursing. And now I know why. Other more progressive cities nearby do not even have a single movie theater.

We were in theater 11 this time and it was the total opposite. My advice - come to the early screening hours and there shouldn't be a long line at the ticket booth or concession stands. Remember the 80's before theaters all had stadium seating? People are also buying their concessions at the same time and that is not good business practices. There have been several times I've driven to the Regal Cinemas in Everett to avoid the exasperatingly long lines in Marysville. And speaking of walking out, check out the pic I'm attaching. I suppose what they want if for us all to buy tickets online, but all this change makes me want to do is wait for films to come out on Redbox. Regal Marysville is a run down out of date theater. Maybe mandatory seating works in more cosmopolitan areas, but not in small town Marysville. What should be a quick and easy process is now long and annoying. They no longer have a ticket counter to buy your tickets when you walk in. I like the employees working the ticket counters and concessions. Let me begin by saying, I am thankful Marysville even has 14 theaters in one building.

So moral of that big long story. One daughter sat with me and the other had to sit up behind us. Concessions need to have a line strictly for refills. Not much direction or guidance. Anticipating having to sit right in the front, I brought my leg crutch instead.

It took twenty minutes to get tickets. I've seen more arguments happening during the movies over seating. Ya, I was hesitant to watch at this theater, but when you're desperate to watch a movie for fear that if you wait any longer you know some idiot will spoil it for you, you gotta go where there's availability. Of course, it gets trashed as the day wears on just like any other cinema. Plus the concessions are half the price in Stanwood. Manager, I plead you, take a stand and change it back.

The theater is always clean though old in the early screening hours. Then I wished I had my knee scooter! Never have I ever seen such a horrifying sight in a movie theater. By the middle of the movie I am ready to go because of the lack of comfort. I'm sad to say that I walked out of that place with an actual back and butt ache. But management does an extremely poor job of adequately staffing this theater. There is always ample parking, 14 screens and two concession stands. To all my fellow 80's kids, looking for a flashback to the days of better movies and less impressive theaters, you should bring your kids here to show them what movie going was like when you were young.
