Janey comes downstairs to take Brian up to bed. When Whitten's son comes into the surgery, Ben assumes he is Toby, until he tells Ben that he is Toby's brother James. Janey is soon released in return for food, and hours later the police storm the bank and the other hostages are released. Meanwhile, Nick becomes a magician under the name Brian Miles while Susan plays the cello. Susan has to force Roger to tell his mother he does not want to live next to her. What should just be a simple task of turning off the alarm soon turns into and Ben is forced to clamber over furniture and make all sorts of other ridiculous movements just to try to get back to his bedroom without setting off the alarm.

Ben then enjoys his private room, but he is soon sent to a ward, as it is soon discovered that his private health insurance has expired. It is not until she gets to the police station to find out that her old friend, Paul is a drug dealer whom the police have been trying to capture for a while. He's adamant that he will do no such thing, and that he will eat the fruit, vegetables and other food that she's left for him. Also, Janey hurts her neck at the and Alfie gives her an amazing which she then recommends to Abi resulting in a rather jealous Roger.
