We went there on a Wednesday in May and I tried to book a table online in advance, but I was informed that there were no tables available. Like all of Olivia's restaurants, the Østbanehallen location offers real Italian pizza baked in a stone oven, as well as classic pasta dishes and antipasti. The burrata is always a treat — it can be eaten just with a light sprinkle of salt, pepper and olive oil. The main meals were served shortly thereafter. If I was to be picky I can say that I would have wanted it to be a bit more creamy and rich, but it was a tasty risotto indeed.

Your Trip has too many items in it. The wine selection is not bad, and they have focused on wines that are easy to like — both for the pallet and the wallet. Stavanger was once a tranquil coastal market town and then later an important fishing port. I guess the kitchen made a mistake, but the waitress fixed this and we soon got this with apologies from the waitress. The menu is the same in all their restaurants: stone oven baked pizzas, classic pasta dishes, antipasti and Italian desserts- made from the finest ingredients they can find and cooked in true Italian style. As main dishes we chose risotto and a pizza. The crust and pizza base were also to my liking.

The place has a great location, the menu includes stuff that people know and love pizza, pasta, lasagna etc. Eight restaurants in Norway Today, they have a total of eight restaurants in the largest cities in Norway and they have just opened their first restaurant in Gothenburg in Sweden. . Welcome to Olivia - closer to Italy you cannot get! This restaurant also has Milanese dishes such as grilled meat and fish, risotto and salsicca, as well as quick food like pizza al taglio. It also came with some bread, a salad that was a but uninspired but with good cherry tomatoes. In true Italian fashion, you come for the Capellini Primavera, but get lost for hours in the company and the impeccably curated wine list. About Olivia opened the doors for the first time in 2006 at Aker Brygge in Oslo. Founded on hard work, true love and sheer passion, we brought Olivia to Hollywood, Florida. All of the Olivia restaurants are inspired by their own city in Italy. I love my risotto and I had to try to when they had a combination of lemon and asparagus. The people working in the restaurant was very polite and had a great service attitude — I would probably say that this is due to good management in the restaurant so well done! Blankets, fireplaces, candles, olive trees and Italian inspired music in the background make their guests feel at home.

The place is quite big and there are tables on two floors and many of the tables do have a great view of the harbor of Stavanger.
