I think it could be very useful, but short lived. There are a few apps on my phone he likes, so now he can use his tablet to play them instead.

This item is just the right size for kids to hold onto and use as they learn and grow. There are a lot of amazing features available on this tablet, which is touch screen. The tablet only took me about 5 minutes to setup and to be using it, with an additional couple minutes for one update it said it needed. The educational tablet has a bright color scheme that makes it easy to locate when it's time to play. Many wonderful features and the real ability to control all content. It does come with a lot of preset games and educational material for children on it and I think the best part is is that it comes with a kid safe mode built right in.

Overall I would definitely recommend this tablet as a great alternative to purchasing an iPad for a child because of the low price, durability and ease of use. My granddaughter,who is two years old, absolutely loves this tablet! Gets on some educational and fun programs and I love this. The bumper cover is a good idea but the 4 yr old couldn't leave it alone and took it off all the time.

I have had to put it on a few times as it comes off pretty easily. I was amazed at the ease of use and how the colors and everything was so easy to find use and get interested in. You can also set the time frame during which it can be used ex. It comes with like a weird partial bumper guard that only covers the sides that makes the tablet feel even cheaper and it can be removed way to easily. Function-wise, I like how you can download any app from the Android store.
