I really liked the interior of the restaurant. I went there next day and the server who took my order saying I ordered it wrong. . This establishment knows how to cook the most authentic Vietnamese food in town. Of course my favorite is the pho. Be one of the first to write a review!. We also ordered their Vietnamese coffee which was my only complain, it was not good but will definitely come back if I need pho on a rainy day.
I walked out and never been back since. . With rare beef, chicken and shrimp. But they almost tasted like the frozen ones that you can buy at the supermarket and heat up yourself. That didn't affect their wait staff and kitchen one bit, because our food came out super fast as it has all the other times we visited. They hesitated but made the change. Food is so so,,,, not very good. Spring rolls were good, but the peanut sauce was way too sweet for my liking. Once I could get over the smell I ate it up. While it's not quite the best pho I've ever had, it's an extremely solid example and with their quick service, spotless restaurant, and delicious food not to mention rock-bottom prices , Pho Today is absolutely getting a place in our dining rotation. The B2 is a little on the lighter side but my wife enjoys it and never finishes it all. There was definitely enough wait staff but service was still a little slow. Pho Today is located in the busy retail hellscape that is Southside Blvd. Love the Pad Thai here. They load it down with noodles, beef ball, tendon, tripe and more.
But its not the Real Thing when it comes to Pho for me. Fresh, affordable, savory taste of Vietnam! A quick lunch can easily turn into an hour and a half lunch if you have the wrong server. My family eats here at least once a week. If you want a hot steamy bowl of soup his needs to be your go to! Our meal here was excellent. Wife loves the egg rolls, fried shrimp rolls and the Pho. Now, this is all I get when we go there, with both chicken and shrimp on it. The girl acted as if we didn't exist! They have events on the weeken. There were 4 people sitting people and then it was a different person that took my order. When it's hot out and steaming soup isn't in the cards, this is a great option to have. I do like the fact that they have a good variety of meats that order to put into the Pho. I would highly suggest them for catering orders as well. Now the reason for the 3 stars is the service.
I haven't found a place that has better pho yet. You have exceeded the limit of allowed reposts. The food came out quickly and we were not disappointed. After my food was brought I never received another visit to check in on how things were, drink refill or even to give me my check. In addition to the star anise there was another spice that I couldn't really identify. Not too sure what happened, but our entrees came out quite a bit faster than our apps.
