There are no smart light features built-in and you supply your own bulb, but the table lamp can turn smart with the right bulb just like any lamp. The two companies say it's about a shared passion. This is surely a case where the stock was put out too early, as there is no way that the speakers will work until Sonos gives the official software release. And, though our personal preference would be the darker option, we actually quite like it. And in order to have good sound at home, you often have to use up some of this precious commodity.

So in the morning, you can have the blinds go up, lights turn on, and music start playing automatically. And while we haven't been able to test this setup, we imagine pairing two bookshelf speakers would sound even better. I'm curious to see how will do in smaller spaces and whether it has 'enough' to do surround duties in a home theatre setting.
