Because the classes take turns conducting the Thursday morning Mass, they get to practice public speaking from a young age. The school has plans to open a purpose-built Well-being Centre in 2019-2020. We work hard to ensure that our students have many opportunities — academic, sporting and cultural. The school has extensive facilities made for Boarding and Day Students, as well as on-campus accommodation for teachers, tutors and workers. We are seeing positive growth in the number of rugby playing students. We have a number of young players coming through the ranks who bring enthusiasm and energy, who will be ably lead by Kaea Hongara, alongside promising senior forwards Patrick Lui, Ollie Norris and James Thompson. The Musical Theatre Academy was also launched in 2018. It was designed by American architect Roy Alston Lippincott, who designed the main building to resemble a large English country home.

In 2018 it reached a record roll of over 1130 students. We are a Full Primary Catholic School, catering for Years 1-8 students. Learning is our core business and we are committed to offering learning opportunities that utilise a range of technologies and teaching approaches to develop confident, connected, life-long learners. School teams for these sports are offered at all age groups as co-curricular opportunities for all students, regardless of whether they choose to enrol in a curriculum academy or not. It is an initiative that helps students understand the importance of business, and to develop enterprising attributes and skills. A new Junior School area Year 7 - 8 students was completed in 2014. Also in 2014 Owl Farm was launched, a demonstration farm that is a joint venture between St Peter's School, Cambridge and Lincoln University. The school is small, one class per grade, but no one is lost in the shuffle. The school's history extends back to 1936, when it was founded by Arthur Broadhurst 1890 - 1986 and. Students use the farm regularly for a wide variety of applications including animal feeding, breeding and health, pasture composition, growth rates and dry matter percentage, weed identification, and more. Will has also clocked up 24 international caps for Tonga including two World Cups in 2011 and 2015. Our focus is on developing compassionate, lifelong learners who will succeed in a global community.
