I was told their burgers were great, but I beg to differ on that, I think the burger was trash, very basic, boring trash. To finish I had a mini key lime pie. My previous lackluster review sorta still stands, though I am a fan of the place for a few reasons. Your Trip has too many items in it. Secondly I have to say being born and raised on long island this has to be one of the worst and over priced seafood meals I have had. He gathered inspiration from burger joints like Dirty Burger in London and Flippin' Burgers in Stockholm, and ended up creating one of the best burgers in Norway. Ordered the fried calamari as an appetizer.
She really liked it, artichokes and tomatoes, capers, lemon sauce. Its history stretches back deep into the Middle Ages. Look forward to coming back again and again! Service is great and the portions are nice. Went for a family dinner. Thumbs down to the chef. Our meals were tasty and fresh and the portions were generous. All came with choice of 2 sides.
Baked clams were mostly if not all bread, couldn't Tasta a clam. Our waitress was attentive but not overly so. I ordered the lobster roll not overwhelmed with dressing just enough to let the lobster shine through on a garlic seasoned brioche roll. Pricing is a little bit high, but reflective of being the only thing near the ferry and the B-n-B just down the road. We will certainly be back. Wife got the Cull House chicken dish. I had the crab stuffed jumbo shrimp it was a bit heavy but was fresh and tasty.
I hope management reads this. From fresh lobster from the tank to a hamburger this place covers it all. Renaa Xpress is the café, bakery, and pizzeria by Sven Erik and Torill Renaa which is located within Sølvberget community center. Based on the visitors' opinions, prices are fair. My wife and I came here for an early dinner on Saturday 6pm. First off this restaurant is located near the great South Bay where there is a push for a green movement. But at these prices I would expect those 2 improvements.
Don't let the exterior fool you - this place is amazing. Place was smaller than it seemed in the pics. Take advantage of this treat of a neighborhood restaurant in Sayville. Every other Tuesday is drag queen bingo! Stavanger was once a tranquil coastal market town and then later an important fishing port. The layout of the place is odd, a few different rooms of tables but I suppose this is the way they had to maximize space without updating and getting into costly renovations it could use a touch up or two To get to the back room you have to wait her cut through the kitchen briefly or go around the building. Hekkan Burger has gone back to the basics in their search of burger perfection.
I prefer the place in Tasta over this one. Please stay away from the chicken and their burgers because their seafood is some of the best in Long Island. The few slices of white hero roll didn't cut it. In a pinch, it's just fine, but probably not someplace I'm going to crave going back to. And a few orders of stuffed shrimp which were excellent. The seafood here is to die for and it's all super fresh! Stuffed shrimp was over cooked. Around the table we got lobster, big and fairly priced for their Sunday special.
We'll be back really soon! Most dishes are between 20-30 per dish which lacked portion and quality of food. The Calamari and Hot Cherry Peppers however were great! You will stroll along the historic Great George St. . Yesterday at the Cull House however I did have some rather great calamari from the specials. Not a very fancy place, a bit more on the casual side with plastic utensils and paper dishes for the most part but I like the fact that I can dress relaxed and be comfortable. I'd found The Cull House on Yelp but it didn't have many reviews but we figured we'd take a chance anyway.
And I've had a lot! I love the burgers at The shack, but this place offers just a bit more than a take away place. For a meal I got crab stuffed shrimp - also amazing. Sorry not sure why all the great reviews? The only glitch was the three shrimp on the platter were small and overcooked. Ok Mot great small for price of 30 dollars. They really need to be cleaned well, not just wiped off. Depending what you get you can have a great meal or a lousy one, but I suppose that can be said of a lot of places.
They did not skimp out, there was seafood in every bite. If your hotel is located in downtown Charlottetown we recommend walking to the start location. And he had the Fish Tacos. It unfortunately doesn't have much of a view but on a nice day the outdoor seating in the back is a treat. To me it certainly wasn't worth the price and food was not great A neighborhood restaurant that aims to please We came to the Cull House recently on a Friday with a party that included a person who uses a wheelchair. I do not want to discredit the wait staff due to the place being busy which surprising since the food was terrible in my opinion.
