But there are shuttle busses going the whole day back and forth between the hotels and the airport. The room was big, and even tho' we had the window open at night, we got a good night sleep. I like the setup up this hotel. Bath was interesting large one. Breakfast in the morning was fantastic! Shuttle Bus to airport is extra

There was not a single thing around hotel. This hotel was booked for an overnight stay due to a layover from a flight 19 hours. I did not use this but thought this was great to have as an amenity for the hotel and its guests. Now the reason I am giving this 4 stars and not 5 stars is because there was no hotel restaurant , no vending machines, no delivery food take out service but there was excellent coffee and there is a microwave there. I stay in hotels for business travel most weeks of the year rarley write reviews but this one was quite unusual! If you don't know what is hospitability, you can even visit any hotel in India.

We were flying out of Oslo airport the next morning and purchased a roundtrip bus pass to get us to and from the airport as we had to drop off our rental car the day before. As you write, Thon Hotel Gardermoen do not have a restaurant, since the hotel is a bed and breakfast hotel. Oslo city centre is a 40-minute drive away, while Jessheim Shopping Centre is 4 km away. You pay for the ticket at a machine on platform 40 I believe or you can pay for it on the bus itself, they accept credit card.
