Created by Mike Judge, John Altschuler and Dave Krinsky, Silicon Valley started as the story about a scrappy underdog coder who wanted to make it in the Valley. I was uncomfortable during the whole movie because of the inability of the white characters to speak to Chris as a man rather than a black man and treat him like a human being rather than a black human being. In the course of his new duties, Cal works with undercover officer Tom Lopez a hysterical Jimmy Smits who believes the Santeria or voodoo. However, that ending was part of a reshoot because the original was far more realistic wherein Chris is arrested by two white police and went to jail. Nice use of humor throughout the movie too. Some of the acting seems a little off but I am sure that this was done intentionally to give the viewer an off feeling for certain scenes in order to cause an involuntary deduction of both the key pivotal moments and the subtle details.

Without giving away much I will say he pulls you in to a point where you can see this story through his eyes this line is humorous if you watch it. I didn't expect to like this movie or be surprised by it, but I really liked it and was pleasantly surprised.
