All in all, I almost pulled this series down a level because of its slightly alienating religious themes and focus on animals instead of humans, but then I thought, how can I punish a show for being both incredibly deep and refreshingly different? Blue and Cher fight him off while Hubb grabs Cheza and tries to carry her to safety. When they look down on the lower level, they watch in horror as the wolves of Zali's pack are harnessed like dogs and used by humans to haul cargo. The rain sends Cheza's seeds into germination, and washes away the old world in a that reveals a blooming Paradise which Darcia's wolf eye begins to stain almost immediately. The owl returns them to taunt them with riddles before flying off. Everything was always quiet when something bad in the series happen, and only loud when it really needed to be.

All you really have to do is listen during Wolf's Rain to appreciate what is going on below the surface. You don't have to like anime or even animation for that matter, to get into Wolf's Rain. Tsume wants to leave but Kiba says something has to be there to have so many wolves there. The series was created by and and directed by. One of the soldiers injured by the wolves in the earlier fight attacks a small boy, thinking he too is a wolf in disguise. When she leaves, she kisses him on the mouth which dazes him long enough for her to get outside and into a black car with some men and leave. Cher and Hubb find Cheza and Blue in the convoy.
