There were so many layers that could be peeled back. Warhol's first exhibition in an art gallery came in 1962 at the Ferus Gallery in Los Angeles. Very quickly you can see that they shared a lot of interests, in shared social circles. Then, he created a studio or workshop called The Factory which began to become popular.
