Great cafe and restaurant

The streets, squares and venues of the inner city and its surrounding neighborhoods, are alive all year round with everything from jazz festivals to outdoor ice skating rinks and parachuting at the lakes right in the center of the city. We specially love their homemade crisp bread. Unfortunately we do not take reservations. The cafe is huge and has portions to match. Both offer attentive service and tempting food and both are great for people watching! Their organic soft boiled eggs were a highlight: perfectly cooked with a really creamy yolk. We've visited Copenhage a few times and we've found plenty of nice places to brunch. Luckily we stumbled on Cafe Norden's champagne brunch.

A great location too You have to get a table then place your order at the bar which is good but for should you need extra drinks etc can be lengthy waiting in queues again The food is very good and whilst seemingly expensive most dishes should be shared as the portions are immense As mentioned by others the tomato soup is fabulous but a meal in itself and again enough for 2 to share Everything we ordered was tasty and well presented Highly recommend a visit --. The dynamic Danish capital features progressive modern architecture, the must-visit Tivoli Gardens amusement park, stunning palaces, and all the activities and amenities you would expect in a world-class destination. Café Norden is a dynamic workplace where the pace is high. Our plates arrived shortly, loaded down with fruit, cheese, crepes, breads and other tasty bites. Their pancakes had a lovely touch of lemon and some brown sugar grains that made some bites unexpectedly crunchy.

This compact area boasts beautiful old castles, tranquil parks, and bustling squares where you can always find a bench to stretch out your legs whenever you need a break. The cafe can be very noisy at all times of year, making following a conversation challenging, and even with seating on two floors for 200 people, it can be hard to find a table Norden does not take reservations.

Cafe Norden is located in the city center. The chai latte was also good and there range of cakes were great for a small sample. We had an egg salad sandwich, salmon and pork sandwich. It was the perfect pick-up after a red-eye flight. If you prefer the vibrant life at Strøget, we have 50 seats in the living room. I had a great rendition at brunch at Cafe Norden, but you can find it on Danish smørrebrød for lunch or at a local bakery like Myers Bageri. Wish I had read previous reviews before going!!!! And their pancakes were fluffy and huge! Cafe Norden's prime location on Amagertorv square in the middle of pedestrian street Stroget make this art deco-styled cafe the spot for meeting people, particularly in the summer, when its chairs and tables sprawl out into the square.

After a 5am flight from , we were ready for a hearty meal to kick-start our sight-seeing in. Located in the middle of the main shopping district, in central , we were lucky to get a table so quickly. The menu offers typical cafe fare, a little expensive but of a high standard; and though hot meals and sandwiches are available, Cafe Norden is best known for its coffee and cakes. But our two favourites are: Cafe Norden Østergade 61 and DagH Cafe Dag Hammarskjölds Allé 38. .

The inner city is home to the Royal Danish Theatre, which consists of three buildings, two of which are new and situated on the harbor front. Champagne was acquired stat, followed by a thick smoothie and rich coffee. I suggest slathering a slice with sweet butter the morning after all those craft cocktails from the city's eccentric bars. But with over 120 seats on our fantastic 1st floor overlooking Strøget and Storkespringvandet, you can always find a table that suits you. It's as dense as banana bread, has a nutty and bitter flavor, and is flecked with plenty of seeds and other grains.

DagH Cafe, on the other hand, is placed in Osterbro, a classy area full of designer shops and modern cafes. When weather permits, we can also accommodate 100 happy customers outside. My meal was so satisfying overall, but what I left remembering most was the fresh bread. This bustling cafe was already crowded with shoppers, businessmen and a few bedraggled tourists namely us. All three were delicious and tasted fresh.
