The test drive route does not normally include any highway. First impressions are so important and you could have done better as well. Even the administrators in the back were kind, friendly and on top of all the paperwork. So they put my son in a loaner and sent him off without a key or a car. The appraisal on our old car was very satisfactory and we were told that our appraisal would be valid for 7 days.
If we like the car and are ok with the price, then good. I have never experienced car buying so easy! I am sure you could find exactly what you're looking for. I'll make it my mission in life to make sure these two individuals understand that without customers you would not exist. We were offered a loaner car for the 4 days. The waiting areas for service and processing are bright and loud and crowded - don't bring your kids. The car smells totally new and was in tip top shape. They told me 2-3 days at the most and that was Monday. So even though they never even saw the problem and had no reason to even believe me that something was wrong they took the car back within the 5 days and gave us our money back. It was a pretty cold day and she was out with us showing every car we peaked our head in and really allowed us to discuss each car. Leaving the dealership I advised my son to look online for another vehicle as he was still within Carmax's ever touted return within 5 days no questions asked period rather than take posession of something he may have a later issue with. They have a huge selection, plenty of smiling people, clean, and a pretty sweet vending machine that I munched on.
She was incredibly personable and considerate; a hospitality and integrity that was unmatched- especially in the car buying industry. Location general manager would grill for us on July 4th, memorial day, labor day, etc. Only the customers ever gave me anything to complain about. My husbands 12 year old truck has had less issues than this car. Finding the right car for you is easy with our no-haggle prices and wide selection of vehicles. Mr Larry defiantly gave the best customer service I ever experienced!!! I recommend doing it over the phone because that place was packed and you'll only complain about how bad customer service is because how busy they are. My salesman Larry Chappell gave exceptional customer service, before making the decision to drive to Texas he suggested to to work with someone in the Baton Rouge office to assist them with helping us, after several failed attempts he worked up the numbers and I decided to go to Plano.
There is such a thing as Managerial Courage which both of these gentlemen lacked this evening. This is a trade-in scam dealer disguised as being loyal to the customer with no-haggle pricing. We certainly recommend Carmax to everyone! You misplace your own car and make that the customer's problem?! The Plano location is great and the guy that helped me, Larry, has gone above and beyond even after I got my car because my air filter looked dirty he said no problem and they ordered me a new one right away! One thing I can say about CarMax is that it takes a lot of the drama and backbiting out of the car sales experience. Because I find it hard to believe that this is the level of customer service Carmax stands on. These two cars were in other locations and had to be brought over to this location.

Until today when trying to purchase a vehicle for my son I would have sung Carmax's praises. This included the financing and the quality of vehicles. To make a customer suffer because of an error of your own making defies all sensibility. You won't get a good deal here, but the selection is very good. She wanted me to find the car that made me giggle she said- the perfect fit.

CarMax will give you a half hour sales pitch on their company and success, then make you wait another 45-60 minutes for the appraisal this is the sales hook as they want you to look at cars on their lot. I was absolutely stressed out upon entering when I came to Carmax Plano. We looked and looked at cars and test drove some, and then I found the one that made me giggle and decided on a Nissan Altima. I will never ever venture to a traditional snake ridden dealership again.
