Solliden Castle The summer paradise of the royal family on Öland. Very good option for the whole family vacation. Lap times on a display mounted on the steering wheel, makes driving much more fun, you get the current time displayed and your fastest lap saved. Glabo gokart has the biggest kart course on Öland. Take the opportunity to try the most modern karts on Öland. Golf is just around the corner. For the very smallest there are electric cars. Spent 5 of our 7 day holiday here. It's a fun place to stay, rather calm even during peak season. It was an interesting experience! Helmets and neck protection in various sizes are available.
At Öland Go-Kart Center is it drop-in, just come and pay your fee during opening hours and you will get next available run on the track. Långe Erik was completed in 1845. Glabo Gokart offers large go-carts, bar charts and double karts that are perfect for children who cannot or dare to drive themselves, even for the disabled. At Solliden there is much to do. As it is generally frowned upon to drive your car around the campground, we had quite a long walk from the cabin over to the restaurants and the waterpark. The cabins were spacious and well-appointed but quite hot. It is a nature reserve named by Carl von Linnaeus in 1741 after the Roman sea god Neptune.
We waited well over 45 minutes for our food, by which time the kids had long since finished their kids' buffet excellent and good value and wanted to play. Outside Kaffetorpet there is ceramics. Our Caroli karts have been designed for maximum safety and all karts are equipped with rollbar and seatbelt and the karts can be regulated by remote control by the staff if needed. The karts are Rimo go-karts with an engine of 270 cc, same as Ralf Shumacher uses on his course in Germany, both good acceleration and top speed, and the track is newly paved in 2012 so it is smooth and fine, all for the experience to be as perfect as possible. There are 138 steps to the balcony which is located at about 28 meters altitude. There is also a separate Junior kart circuit available. And lots of activities like outside gym, minigolf, normal golf, playgrounds, etc. Cabin is clean and modern. It is also possible to book the track for companies or groups, off the regular hours, this with special arrangements like price ceremony after the race. The waterpark is awesome and well worth taking your kids to. Swimming pool for the kids, downside is that you need to pay entrance fee. On the sunny days we enjoyed the beautiful clean sandy beach and clear sea.
The Böda Beach Club restaurant has great views and a nice patio but service was exceedingly slow. In the northern part you find the most varied grave forms. The karts just require throttle and brake and the shift is automatic. The coffee shop offers coffee, sandwiches and lunches. Some graves are also located on the alvar east of the road.
Of course, life jackets are available for all weights. The bread shop and the creperie are open during the high season. Banda Sands water sports are safe and their staff do everything to make you feel safe. The beach was absolutely breathtaking - miles and miles of fine, white sand leading into the sea. On the less sunny days we played frisbee golf, crazy golf as a family and then the kids played on the bouncy trampolines or climbed over the play frames.
There is no need for previous experience. Driving kart is both simple and fun! The family package price of 250kr is well worth it, especially as you can come and go during the whole day. We have go-karts for all ages. An booked guided tour takes about 45 minutes to walk around the park with the guide, after which visitors can stroll around on their own in the park. Lunch was taken at one of the cafes. We went as day visitors, there is no charge for entering the site. Toilets are fairly clean, however they do have some issues keeping up when in peak season.
Böda beach At Böda Sand there are lots of different water sports to choose from. We visited end of May with 3 kids 12yrs, 8yrs and 7mths old baby The beach was beautiful. Here the whole family will have a fun and exciting day. Plenty of facilities for children, pool, beach, playground, trampoline. In Fyrshopen sale of coffee — ice cream — souvenirs. Or why not visit the annual exhibition next to the entrance and Slottsboden.
You find them between Löttorp and Böda on northern Öland. This was a blessing but also a curse. The place is kept clean and tidy a total joy. Their watercraft is silent and you can sit two people on them so bring your dad or mom for a ride! The beach is super nice, the waterpark kept the youngsters happy. Neptuni fields Neptune fields are a pebble field north of Byxelkrok. On Öland Go-kart center in Föra about 20 kilometers north of Borgholm offers large powerful Caroli karts newly purchased 2016, with timekeeping, junior karts from 2015, double-karts and mini-karts for from about 3 year old.
