Bike I really like this bike, when it works! Due to the speed capable on ebikes, the ebike industry is doing better at adopting them than the push bike industry. You took my money and entered into an aggrement. The new comes in three different variations — the 250, 250+, and the 750. You guys probably heard about this bike. I think it took me about 6 months between the day I first clicked their Facebook ad and the final purchase. We're constantly manuevering shipments and as a crowfunding based startup we're learning new things everyday.

Either the motor, controller or battery has a fault that is causing the bike not to power on at times, most times, or cut out mid ride. It was my first ever purchase on any crowd funding platform and, although I worried, it paid off. Some people who are undecided on such things will go for it because they want to support the creation of product X. Obviously I had installed the nut and I even had a picture. Both my Haibikes have through axles. If the end nut is missing off the skewer, and didn't break off the axle, it could have not been fully threaded on.

What I do not understand it the complete lack of customer service, the newly suspended answering service only allowed calls between 2-4pm local Denmark time. The motor is not what we expected and not what we ordered. Components that are sourced to meet a price point, non-professional assembly, and bikes that are designed for high speed on low speed components. Most critical is that the lever must not touch any part of the frame or fork to limit it from fully closing.

It's hard to understand how this company can get so many things wrong. For that they have my respect, not least of all because they could have just thrown their hands up in the air and ran off with our money. That could make it more challenging to lug around, potentially canceling some of the benefits that come with the folding design. From conversations with mountain bikers about this you will get a lot of speculation and very little hard data. Oh, and they love helping people build interesting contraptions.

Happy to answer other questions if I can. They kept going, and they will ship all the bikes, and I've no doubt they will stick to their promise of fixing broken items and sending out all the extras too. Another problem is that a wheel with a loose skewer is pretty noticeable and it is hard to imagine anyone, even a novice cyclist, riding that far without noticing something very wrong. I want to make them accessible to all, no matter the budget or where you live in the world. That is one of the worst responses I have ever seen, considering the circumstances, regardless of who was at fault. Nice to see other reviews posted after mine getting responded to while I am still ignored. The 2nd bike was great also, no issues.

Do I have to start messaging employees on LinkedIn next?! Coffee on the likely cause and effect. I'm not holding my breath for my order arriving before Christmas - I'd imagine it'll be even longer. Now it is not loading at all. This is just not on. I got quite concerned that I've not received the 2nd bike for a while, then finally it showed up in December 2019. All things electric bikes from motorcycles to pedal assist. I know it's difficult to prove anything against Mate.

First, because I am a bit of nerd always looking for what's best out there and secondly and in all transparency because the online reviews were mixed: Half of the customers were super happy, half not so much. Happy with original but disappointed in communication. But as standard, for road use, it's perfectly fine. I'm 5 foot 6 inches, and the seat is pretty close to it's lowest setting. The bike i recieved was a Taiwan Bike, not knowing what that meant , i assembled it, took it out for a ride and loved it! I won't be biking with a Mate again but good to know for the future! That shipping solution did not contain pin-point tracking, and combined with the shipping parcel weighing in at about 45 kg, this has created some challenges in regards to shipping. The fit and finish of the bike is excellent and it runs like a well oiled machine should.
