I had to remove Chewie's legs and attach two little pieces under his body so he would stick, and I had to pry one of his arms off. When you make a purchase or, sometimes, carry out some other action as direct result of clicking on a link at The Brick Fan, we will receive a small commission. The other mod was: I had to put Han and Chewie in the cockpit, and because Chewie was too big, that took some work. First off, I had some issues getting the cockpit pieces together. There are only four connecting points, but getting all four to connect takes a bit of patience. I am not too keen on the pirate minifigures, as they are a bit lacklustre, and during the scene of the movie this set appears to be based off, there was a much cooler red-mask wearing group that I feel would have been a better option.
Although on screen, very little has changed between The Force Awakens and the last time we saw the Falcon in Return Of The Jedi. His weapon reminds me of an 1800's flintlock rifle. Rey's gun is identical to Solo's but is silver in color. I also think the two spring shooters in the bow of the Falcon is a very nice addition. If you can get your hands on one you won't be disappointed! However, that one facial expression has a very cool looking eye patch and is very unique. Great print on torso, both front and back and front of his legs.
It has a cockpit good for 2 minifigs with detachable canopy, spring-loaded shooters, a dish ramp, rotating laser turrets with 2 gunner seats, and a detachable escape craft. As an added bonus, the heads on the original Han and Leia figures spin around to offer a variant look with air respirators, for re-creating scenes like the mynock attack in Empire Strikes Back. Lego has put a ton of work into making this a super detailed version of the actual ship from the films ā to the point that it includes swappable deflector dishes to match either the original trilogy or the more recent Force Awakens variants of the ship, along with accurate interior sections. I do have more detailed pictures that you may enjoy. I also deviated slightly from the instructions in a few areas.
And most of all I hope you will have fun with this one! Since the cockpit is the same as 7965 the Chewy issue is not a new complaint. The secret cargo hold is also very well designed and I really like the idea of hidden play functions that take me time to discover. It was originally intended for display rather than for play. The minifigures were all great in my opinion and suited to this set. Now this one comes along with some tiny updates to the instructions and the digital model. His weapon looks like a flintlock from the 1800s.
However, I suspect these figures are going to be unique to this set. Thus far, I really like the set. The escape pod although no mention of it was made in the movies provided a really nice touch. I would have liked for the pieces to be printed, but the stickers provided were easy to apply and are accurate to the aesthetic of the movie. The Millennium Falcon set will go on sale on. It truly lived up to its name as the successor to the Millennium Falcon Star Wars classic line. This is by far the largest Lego set I have ever built.
As with all of the Ultimate Collector Series sets this Millennium Flacon came with a display card with detailed ship specifications! In fact, I would put it more in alignment with the Ultimate Collector's Edition Millennium Falcon. . The cockpit was also modified, allowing access to the minifigures. Secondly, I wished the landing gear was retractable. As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases. This old version of Han is quite cool.
In this regard, we would like to enumerate all the Millennium Falcon models and compare them, so as to find out which model should be considered the best. I did some little fixes for strength and sorted out little bugs here an there. I was lucky enough to find mine at Target and snatched it up. His face has two expressions, serious and what I would call mad. Released in August 2009 for the 10 th Star Wars anniversary line, it only consists of 356 pieces and no minifigures. Han has his proper blaster with scope.

It consisted of 985 pieces and was definitely a really great set. It consists of 659 pieces and 6 Minifigures that were colored yellow, as was the classic minifigure mold color during that time. There are two spring-loaded shooters at the front, and rotating laser turrets at the top and bottom of the ship. Of course I have always dreamed of a minifigure scale Falcon, but with that being unrealistic for me in terms of size and money, this was the next best thing.
