You feel transported to somewhere special, like you're at a big family dinner party with all your cousins and relatives you've never met. Our belief is that when you walk through our doors you become family. So I am guessing that that same cavalier attitude exists when it comes to service. Drinks are a little much. My buddy orders Veal Parm, he doesn't know about the family style method.
These guys know how to create a great dining experience. It was a perfect medium as requested. It was interesting and slightly odd to see the cooks playing cards in the middle of the dinning room during dinner service. Other menu faves: linguine in clam sauce, baked artichoke, shrimp in red sauce. Very nice, tasteful, well done.
Then the rigatoni with sausage was solid. We like to try and make sure that there is something for everyone to enjoy on our menus, so if you need a recommendation our staff are always happy to guide you and your party to the right dish. But overall it was good value for the money! This is Italian quality pizza with a light, slow-rising crust that is pre-cooked in a wood-fired oven, topped with carefully selected ingredients. Mine was just slightly over cooked and the sides were very basic--some potatoes and French cut green beans, petite potion. Pasta from a box but damn that is pretty friggin' good! The service is better on certain days But the food is worth the visit. Delicious and No Matter how full I am; I always end up ordering their nice strong and hot cappuccino! I finally decided on a glass of sauvignon blanc since it was so beautiful and sunny out, it really felt like a day for a crisp, refreshing type of white wine.
. The customers and wait staff are far removed from Yelp. We will definitely be back. I was so exited that I gobbled it up before I remembered to take a picture. The linguini with white clam sauce is my favorite pasta dish!!! I had emailed the restaurant for a copy of their menu what restaurant doesn't post their menu online? The menu you pick from is located on the wall which is a little annoying for those who can't see but the waiters let you know what to order. Our entrees were delicious, and the cannelloni and espresso afterwards hit the spot.
So yeah, if it wasn't obvious, I won't be back. I felt a bit overdressed. Baked clams are tasty and not overly breaded. Eh I would pass on this. I wanted to 100% adore this place. . I had the veal Don Peppe which was sooo crispy with a bruschetta topping - delicious.
Once the food came I was not disappointed. . Then don't come is the best how I can explain it. I would definitely recommend those two dishes to anyone who wants to give this place a try. No one was there yet but they do open at 5pm and most people are just getting home by then. Theres a long line to try them so don't pitch a bitch.
Also there is no way to make an online reservation. Where else are you getting baked clams half as good other than my house?! So, I eat out a lot. I was about to take a picture but the waiter starts serving us. Josh was attentive but not too attentive. We ordered the beef tenderloin and beef tips pasta special, and they were both good.
Great bathroom for winter sports. We were received in a very warm and friendly manner. I cannot believe they have the gall to charge such a price! We ordered the Veal Don Peppe, the Linguini with clams, the stuffed artichoke, and baked clams. The food is simple and delicious. My family and I came on a Saturday night during what we thought would be prime-time dinner.
Lucy said that she doesn't know anything about it and that the owner is out all week. Seafood marina was borderline Terrible. Chicken parm was good, not great. The stuffed shells were just ok. For my entree I got the six ounce filet with demi-glace. All in all, a great experience which we hope to repeat soon.
I don't know if I'd say it was a top ten dish of all time or anything. The waiters are just as friendly and helpful explaining that all the items on the menu are family style. Looks kind of like a bridal shop. I put on my glasses to look at the menu board. Each meal is always crafted with the finest and freshest ingredients that we can acquire. When two people out of a busy dining room don't like the meal, you don't give them crap for it. The interior decor is so lovely and inviting with their cream colored walls, vintage looking dining chairs, and ceiling adorned with chandeliers.
