It had been a long time since I had been to the course and its in better condition than I remember it. Over all, the course puts a premium on club selection and accuracy, while winds off Lake Michigan, just north of Sand Creek, often come into play. Simi Hills, Sterling Hills, Brookside, Soule Park, Tierra Rejada, River Ridge and a couple 2-day away tourneys to places like Pismo Beach or Palm Springs are examples of the courses we typically play. Sandridge Golf Club is a must-play experience for serious and casual golfers alike. Our 2nd golf course is the Lakes Course, which opened to the public in 1992. You could tell that the new owners are trying to make the greens pristine and then work their way back to the fairways and tees.

The fourth hole plays through a valley to a green that is virtually an island, bordered behind by wetlands and in front by a bunker and Sand Creek. Lake Course The Lake Course at Sand Creek has received substantial revision over the past several years, including the addition of a split-fairway par 5 that includes sod bunkers and a green guarded by water and a bulkhead. Caddies know the course intimately and can offer invaluable insight about pin placements, yardage, playing conditions, club selection and are always there for the moral support you need. Everyone was helpful and the best part was no one was their rushing us.

The only negative was there were some people that you could tell do not play golf much and they also had people joining up to create 5 and 6somes on the course but we still finished in under 4 hours for 18. Sand Hills is the perfect golf course for the novice golfer as it is modest in length, but it offers all of the challenges and hazards of a championship golf course. Our goal is to continue to develop the best products for the specific needs of the turf grass industry. Our tournaments are usually played one Saturday a month and have a field of about 50 players. This layout features one of the toughest holes in all of South Florida, the par 4 14th. Booking your holiday couldn't be easier! Course is short,,,,,,some fairways are wide open but there are some that are narrow and fairly tough.
