. I debated between 3 or 4 stars but bumped it up to 4 based on service and desserts. Maybe I just ordered the wrong thing. I expect that at some nicer steakhouses, but it wasn't clear from the menu and the server didn't mention it. My chicken had an ounce or so of zucchini shaved over the plate, and my husband's sausage came with sauerkraut, but there was no veg. I ate the puttanesca to be polite honestly.
There are about six staff, who play all the roles of host, waiter, chef, bartender. Excellent service and super yummy food! Their pasta is unbelievable and their food legit melts in your mouth. Both consider themselves to be well-traveled foodies and were very impressed with Tenant, as was I. Our service was great as well. Settling in we were given both drink menu's and food menu's. Our group of four ordered five plates plus bread, which was plenty for us. I'm tempted to use the word sublime to describe the menu we enjoyed.
The Good: The restaurant prides itself on sourcing all of its ingredients from Wisconsin and the quality definitely shows. As nice as the physical building itself is, the location might not be the most beneficial for the restaurant something that can't be helped. Following was a nicely grilled Yellowtail served with Brussels Leaves, Heart of Palm and a bright Salsa Verde. Skeptical and in the industry? We had an apple rhubarb tart that was to die for. Strictly speaking, you get three glasses throughout the meal, but in actuality, if you are there during the late evening service, any open bottles are fair game and I ended up with at least 5 pours. The 6 week rotating menu is not posted anywhere - would be nice if guests can look at the menu before making a reservation. Brand new place that opened up its a cute little place very intimate.

These were thick, which I typically don't like, but these changed my mind as the were more like potato skins. I could not have been more wrong--the staff are all young and fun chefs. While I loved the custard itself there was a strange texture in there that was a little hard was not a fan of that.
The brandy old fashioned I ordered didn't taste like anything at all. Each course was well-conceived, superbly prepared and attractively presented. We will definitely be back. . Fantastic menu with very unique and flavorful items. Creamy, smooth and silky with nice crunch from the toppings. . And empty on a Friday night should have told us to turn around and leave. Keep doing what you are doing. After speaking with the manager, and accused of not complaining early enough, and eating the food, although all 4 bites were attempted to be eaten but spit out on the bread plate, the manager agreed to refund the meal. Throughout the evening they spun up a well curated selection of vinyl albums on an old-school console Hi-Fi I recognized cuts by Lightnin' Hopkins among others.
Our entrees also didn't come with sides, which was very odd. We were totally fine with that and they were very nice to make it work for us. Course 6 Lemon and Vanilla Custard, Cocoa Nibs, Nuts? Most of the dishes felt off balanced in flavor to me. Girlfriend enjoyed her chuck roast. Walked in and was greeted right away by friendly staff. I had some sort of braised lamb with fry bread and pickled vegetables and my father ordered braised beef. However, I've had their brussel salad each time I've been in and it's absolutely wonderful and the one thing I will order each time I'm in.
