Rise of a True Shield Hero (Redux) Chapter 1: Apology

Horrified Ren, orders her to stop, but the Princess simply ingests a magic potion replenishing her lost mana. Glass seems to consider Naofumi and his party to be worthy opponents, even asking for his name after he manages to force her to retreat during their battle for reference, she had moments before effortlessly defeated the other three Heroes and their respective parties - all of which are groups larger than Naofumi's party - simultaneously. Later on his wife, in her dying breath, requested that he bury his petty hatreds and join hands with Naofumi to fight for the future, but he was unable to do anything at the time other than dwell within his remorse. Unfortunately, the archers were simply a distraction. They shoulder past Ren and Itsuki, completely ignoring the former's words of caution, their minds set on finishing Naofumi once and for all.

The Shield Hero Redo

She attempted to force Naofumi into apologizing for dishonoring her father and amend the relationship between them but was treated by him as an annoyance in return. But as it turns out, he still had a lot more work to do. A flock of disturbed ravens alerts the group to somebody's presence. Both had player groups, most with multiple times the same weapon. Naofumi's relationship with Itsuki is very strained, to put it politely. With the fighting over the Princess falls to ground clearly overcome by shock. It was the hack the Pope of the Three Heroes Church.

While Itsuki had a single-player game and therefore only one holy weapon in his group, it was a different case for Ren and Motoyasu. Our current values seem rather troubling. Later on, Naofumi defended Itsuki from Raphtalia's criticisms by stating that Itsuki was stuck up, but would never let harm befall his allies; however, Naofumi's attitude changes when he loses what little respect he had for Itsuki after he finds out that the Bow Hero kicked Rishia out of his party under the pretense of a crime which he and other party members orchestrated against her. Melty who had been silently crying up until this point, jumps in and defends her father. Naofumi looks round as the younger Princess moves closer to him and grabs onto his cloak fearfully. He then finds out some stuff from his help guide that Malty hadn't told him about.

Naofumi Iwatani/Relationships

He wants Naofumi to find another blacksmith, as he believes his own skills to be sub-par, but Naofumi places a higher value on his skill and his friendship. Meanwhile, two of Melty's former bodyguards including the one holding the crystal ball, stay out of the fight. He has high morals and doesn't want to hurt anyone who is irrelevant to his mission. Whenever Melty tried to speak to Naofumi or when she didn't understand why he was so cynical and cold towards her, Naofumi expressed disdain, as he believed she was no different than the other nobles and royalty who looked down on and ridiculed him. He doesn't know what happened, and soon finds small, but significant changes in the world.

The four tumble to the ground, as Filo suddenly reverts back to her human form. She constantly seeks Naofumi's attention and approval and expresses great joy when she pleases him but displays great worry that he may possibly leave her. He begins to see how Atla has more potential in combat than her brother and reconsiders her usefulness that he spars with her along with Raphtalia. Perhaps I can unseal a few of my abilities, that would be something for later. With your help, we can make it even better.

The Rising of The Masked Hero

Personality He is carefree and laid back, taking a very relaxed path to every problem. She demands that Naofumi stop treating her like an outsider and refer to her by her name from now on. Raphtalia gets jealous of this but insists that nothing is wrong. He will fight, but only on his terms. After this, Trash resigned himself to remain silent in front of Naofumi, unlike previously when he would create a ruckus against him.

Naofumi Iwatani/Relationships

I second this recommendation, especially if you're looking for something that breaks the mold. He dislikes how Itsuki's actions are driven with the sole purpose of flaunting his pride and showing off for applause. So he changes things as he likes. I need an explanation; if I decline and left, they will find that suspicious. Marius, the centurion of the Blackstone Legion, finds himself in a world unknown to him. It zaps all of Filo's strength and forces her to remain in her human form. On a trip to the book store, he finds a book called Legend of the Five Heroes, upon reaching the chapter of the Shield Hero strange magic pulls him into a brand new world.
