Even then, it is likely to have only a small-capacity motor as the brand- known for sporty motorcycles would just be testing waters with a cruiser. Admittedly that's a side effect of my ex dispatch riding, but it's still annoying and forces you to drive likes it's sunday all the time. Even in stop start traffic, the hands and wrists are not subject to pressure. Huge fun because of its super agility, wonderful noise akras a must , and good low to mid-range punch. Keeping in mind these machines need to stay below the required power to weight ratio, these are pretty impressive figures for a 300cc machine, especially when you jump on board and realise just how well tuned the engine is.
The front brake is relatively powerful, able to be well modulated, as is the rear, which is not too powerful or ineffective, just right for newer or returning riders. Stopping flat footed is easy, and the bike feels nice and light, at low speeds, as well as when wheeling the bike around, with good weight distribution. It is capable of making a maximum power of 41. Like most said very very good handling. This power is transferred to the rear wheel via a six-speed gearbox along with an assist and slipper clutch and quick shifter for clutch less upshifts. Add to that its low seat height gives short riders a lot of confidence.
Lets face it, its gutless. Brake and running gear is excellent. The handling was very light and stable even though I was on and off the power. The smooth gearbox offers positive gear changes and there was no false neutrals or issues getting the bike into or out of neutral at a stop. So, we would recommend taking a test drive for that will give you the exact idea about the vehicle.
The engine is a nice little unit. Apparently there's nothing yamaha can do about this, but it makes it very annoying to drive at 30mph in the right gear as it's constantly changing speed.
