The double eyes were particularly successful in my opinion. Nearly all of the humor in Demon Slayer is jarringly placed right next to series moments. That said, he only ever learned the first of the six Thunder Breathing Forms, the Thunder Clap Flash. He chases Tanjiro around the room, declaring he must be purged. Inosuke takes that to mean it's alright if they fight bare-handed and proceeds to charge Tanjiro, who promises that's not what he meant. On top of that, the primary motivation he has to find Kibutsuji Muzan, apparently the master of all demons, is not because he wants to avenge his family. Unfortunately, this is where the second of my two complaints with the show begins: the handling of its characters and their development. I said last week that I had hope for Zenitsu, I just felt there was more to his character than meets the eye.
