With nine songs, nine ambitious music videos, a movie and many spectacular shows — among them, three sold out nights in Oslo Spectrum Arena. The Stavanger-born rapper closed on a very high note together with his old friends.
Karpe Chirag Rashmikant Patel and Magdi Ytreeide Abdelmaguid entertained and challenged both their audience and the music industry two years in a row. They started to play as early as 4 pm, with a lot of fans already waiting for them, and dropping one of the hottest performances of the day. The first songs passed without attracting much attention. The whole festival lost it completely, and you could see kids running from the farthest corners of Kadetten towards the stage. From playing at the local youth clubs in their teens to where they are now, sold-out arenas, several awards and performances during the Nobel Peace-price ceremony, Magdi Omar Ytreeide Abdelmaguid and Chirag Rashmikant Patel — and their music — has gone through a journey, and their story about marginalization and exclusion has captured the majority and become mainstream. Towards the end of the concert the duo asked the audience to create a massive mosh pit, which ended up being one of the most fun moments of the festival.
However, his confidence and quality grew as time passed. It was towards the end of the concert it truly peaked. . . . . .
