The last chapter is a short introduction to Electra and this is the book I am looking forward to the least. Even when I wasn't reading it I was thinking about it and wondering where it would lead next. We are there with Lucia from the moment of her birth and follow her as her talent becomes known to all. The passion of the main characters, past and present, makes me proud I absolutely loved every single page of this 836 paged book, yes- I even enjoyed the Authors notes. The twists through wars and tough times kept me gripped and lead to many late nights up reading. I have spent all year in anticipation for the sixth book in the series, The Sun Sister, and this epic read in both story and size, at eight hundred and forty eight pages long it is her biggest book, and I think the best do far. While there she meets Chilly, a Romani man who fled from Spain in the midst of violence and Tiggy D'Apliese has always felt connected to nature. I started re-reading the series back in April but this time, I started listening to all the books instead which proved to be quite a different experience all together. This is by far the most hard hitting and serious in the series that I've read. But my real bug bear here is the allusion that he may still be alive. Unfortunately, there seems to be a back sliding to those days in the modern age. As those around her fear for her health, Electra receives a letter from a complete stranger who claims to be her grandmother.

Hopefully we'll also hear more about the enigmatic Pa Salt and quite why he was searching for the seventh sister, so there must be a reason each 'sister' was adopted.
