Very busy and would prefer a reservation. It was my first experience with moose meat and it was yummy! The only recommendation is book in advance because the place is small and high demanded. Tasty modern food inspired by northern Sweden - friendly staff and prices! We were referred to this restaurant by an employee at a Tourist Information office in central Stockholm. Anyway, I found Knut and had a really sweet dinner here. Mehr Dunkel eingerichtet, eng bestuhlt. Very cosy decor and we were able to get a table just as a walk in. The restaurant wasn't loud and had a nice ambiance. Without a reservation, we were given a small table for two in the middle of the restaurant. We walked for a while and ended up in a very nice restaurant where we had a lovely dinner.
It was so tasty and was like comfort food on a cool day. It's a hidden gem for any tourists wanting to taste a bit of Northern Sweden. The food at Knut was absolutely magnificent! The sea bass was cooked nicely and had a lovely dill sauce with alfalfa sprouts which gave each bite a nice crunch. The place feels very welcoming and friendly. In the time we were in the taxi we received an email which we did not see at the time; it was much too late that the restaurant could not have us. I must admit I am biased by coming from the middle part of Sweden however considered as far north by most of the population - anyway, if you're into trying out some real traditional Scandinavian foods with a modern touch, you're at the right spot.
