Thon Hotel Vettre is situated in peaceful, countryside surroundings in Asker, just a short 20 minute drive from Oslo city centre. But the bacon, sausage, beans etc were good. In the room the air circulation system droned too loudly alll night and couldn't be switched off. Given the close proximity of popular landmarks, such as Asker Church 1. The hotel is situated a few kilometers from the Asker train station, so you need to take the bus or drive to get there. Here, you can take advantage of your proximity to the sea, and wander along the cultural heritage trail that runs along the coast of the Oslofjord to idyllic Konglungen island or the quaint seaside village of Vollen.
